On Wednesday, May 10, the three members of the Uhuru Movement – Chairman Omali Yeshitela, Penny Hess and Jesse Nevel – whose homes and offices were raided last summer spoke with the press, along with their attorneys, for the first time since they were indicted on federal charges on April 18, 2023.

The press conference took place at the Uhuru House in St. Petersburg, Florida, site of one of the FBI raids.
